Bayern might have felt that they were foolish to lose to Inter in the manner in which they did. However, many fans must be glad that their team isn’t in Europe and can instead focus on the Bundesliga in a battle for the Champions League spots. And of all teams, their main threat is Hanover, the same team they overturned 7-0 just a year ago.
Uli Hoeness was criticized by a minority of Bayern fans due to the helping hand he extended to 1860 Munich. The behaviour was disgraceful to say the least. Christian Nerlinger came out and said that Bayern has short-listed more than 30 players who they might purchase. Apparently, a deal has already been done with Manuel Neuer. Fabio Coentrao and Gregory Van der Wiel are both included in the list.
