Shakhtar Donetsk vs Barcelona Match Preview
Barcelona will travel to face Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Champions League Quarter-Final second leg on Tuesday.

Shakhtar have an impressive record at home, since moving into their Donbass Arena home in September 2009 they have lost only one game in all competitions. Donetsk are also unbeaten in 12 European home games, and have won every Champions League home game this season. However, the fact that Barca hold a 5-1 lead from the first leg in the Nou Camp means Shakhtar have to produce one of the most remarkable performances in European football history to advance to the Semi-Finals.

Darijo Srna, Olexandr Kucher and Dmytro Chygrynskiy are all sidelined with injury for Shakhtar, while Razvan Rat is suspended.

Andres Iniesta is suspended for Barcelona, while Carles Puyol, Eric Abidal and Bojan Krkic are ruled out with injury.

With a four goal advantage from the first leg, fringe players such as Gabriel Milito, Victor Vazquez and Ibrahim Afellay could be handed a start for Barca.

KEY PLAYERS

Luiz Adriano (Shakhtar Donetsk) – If Shakhtar are to have any hope, Brazilian forward Adriano must help them find an early goal and get the crowd into the game.

Gerard Pique (Barcelona) – With Abidal and Puyol ruled out, Pique must marshal the Barca backline and avoid Shakhtar getting up a head of steam.

Manchester United vs Chelsea Match Preview
Manchester United will be defending a 1-0 aggregate lead when they play host to Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League Quarter-Final second leg on Tuesday.

Manchester United registered a 1-0 win in the first leg at Stamford Bridge when Wayne Rooney scored an away goal for the Red Devils. Chelsea will be aggrieved at the late penalty appeal they had turned down and are likely to adopt an attacking approach knowing they must win at Old Trafford to advance.

Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand will return for United after missing the weekend Premier League win over Fulham. Darren Fletcher is sidelined with injury for United, while Brazilian defender Rafael and John O’Shea are doubtful and will be assessed ahead of kickoff.

Yossi Benayoun and Alex could feature for Chelsea after returning from injury in the weekend Premier League win over Wigan Athletic.

Real Madrid vs Tottenham Hotspur Match Preview
Real Madrid will play host to Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Champions League Quarter-Finals first leg on Tuesday.

Both teams will enter this game on the back of a disappointing domestic result at the weekend. Real Madrid suffered a 1-0 home defeat in La Liga at the hands of Sporting Gijon, a result that was manager Jose Mourinho’s first home defeat in league play since 2002.

Tottenham were held to a 0-0 draw at struggling Wigan Athletic, a result that means they are five points behind the top four and struggling to guarantee participation in this tournament next year.

Star winger Cristiano Ronaldo is ruled out with a hamstring injury for Madrid, while Karim Benzema and Marcelo are ruled out due to injuries picked up while on international duty last week.

Defender William Gallas is doubtful for Tottenham with a hamstring problem, while Steven Pienaar is ruled out due to a groin injury.

Winger Gareth Bale, who has been a revelation so far in this tournament, looks likely to recover from an injury in time to play.

KEY PLAYERS

Mesut Ozil (Real Madrid) – With Ronaldo and Benzema out injured the German playmaker will be responsible for driving the Real attack and creating a lead to take to White Hart Lane in the second leg.
